Liya is being commissioned to train a group of community actors as part of the labour-themed activities in the Labourer Museum, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Initial actor workshops will be held on a two-per-week frequency. After the actor workshop, she will also write and direct the play. It will not be another bleak heart-wrenching story though. It will entertain and move the audience. And if the moon and the wind co-operate, a decent number of people might even start to care a little more about the local labour force and beyond. More than anything else, community actors have always been more than fun to work with. Watch the space.
